Nebula/light pollution filter for visual deep-sky observations. Useful for viewing faint emission nebula; as the filter allows passage of virtually all the radiation from both O-III lines; the H-beta and the H-alpha line. The prominent lines from artificial Sodium and mercury vapour street lites are effectively blocked. It is as a result of this strong reduction of the sky background glow that intricate detail in gaseous and planetary nebulas are greatly enhanced. This version has greatly enhanced sensitivity in the red (Hydrogen) regions, making it an excellent choice for all gaseous deep sky objects.
